Should We Always Take Traditional Medicine as the Only Source of Truth?
Traditional medical doctors often view alternative medicine as a bogus. They publicly mock it saying that it has not and will never be scientifically proven. Although history shows that “facts” that doctors claim to be “scientifically proven” often turn out to be just theories, which fail in time.
Did you know that…
…it was once believed that baby formula was better than breast milk.
…bloodletting was “proven” to treat a wide range of diseases.
…doctors used to claim that the inflammatory bowel diseases and stomach ulcers were caused by stress and spicy foods.
…margarine was ”proven” to be better to your health than butter. Now the exact opposite is “proven”.
…doctors believed that alcohol was 100% bad for you. Now they claim that drinking red wine in moderate amounts is extremely beneficial.
…medical doctors believed that diet had no effect on prevention and causes of disease. Now they reversed this theory and are claiming the absolute opposite.
…all medical drugs have side effects. Smart move for pharmaceutical companies. Keeps them constantly in business.
…thousands of drugs which were “proven” to be safe, were recalled and pulled off the shelves. The probability that the drug you are taking now, in 10 years will be recalled is higher than you think.
…every year nearly 100 000 people die of medical errors.
The list goes on. Medical doctors are not evil and they also are not gods. They are humans, who make mistakes. Think twice before taking a drug. Do research and filter information. If, God forbid, you are diagnosed with something “incurable”, don’t give up. If a cure has not been approved by the FDA, it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist. Look for alternative medicine, look for Eastern medicine cures. If it works for billions of Asians, it must tell you something. Even if is not approved by the FDA.
Be well!
