NAET (Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique). How We Treated Allergies Naturally. Personal Testimony. Part 3

Our friend didn’t experience the NAET treatment himself, but his colleagues did with their child and they swore by it. It sounded like a bunch of crap to me. Energy, kinesiology, acupressure. Whatever. But we decided to try it anyway. Out of desperation and curiosity.

I did a lot of research online and found many positive testimonies, but also found many complaints about it. Most of the complaints were from people who never tried it, and who mocked NAET for being “unscientific”. Some complaints were from people who tried it. We had nothing to lose, other than money, but we had already spent more than a thousand dollars for tests and doctors. One NAET visit, as we found out was $50, which wasn’t too bad (considering how much was already spent).

In our case, the NAET specialist was also a chiropractor. When we arrived at his office, he looked at Aidan and told us how NAET works. I didn’t understand much, but I was ok with that. As far as it worked, I didn’t care how. (In case you are interested, here is the link to the official NAET website, where Dr. Nambudripad, who created NAET describes how it works).

The chiropractor honestly said that this treatment doesn’t work for everyone (although according to him for the majority it does work), but he said he has never seen a child for whom NAET didn’t work. It sounded promising, so we started the treatment.

Since our son was still a baby, either I or my spouse had to be his surrogate. It just meant that the testing for allergies and the treatment had to go through one of us. I am not very technical, so if you want details on how the testing and treatment is done, here is another link from NAET.com).

The first thing the doctor suggested we do was test him for breast milk (since it was his primary food at the time). Turned out that according to NAET he was allergic to breast milk on 2 levels out of 4 – emotional and energy level (can react with hyper-activity or cause sedation), whatever these meant. (The other 2 were physical and physiological). He was immediately treated for it with acupressure, laser light and the “Tickler” which is actually called an Arthro-Stim/Activator . The treatment was over in 10 minutes and so went our first $50.
