Do We Need to Use Organic Beauty Products?

No matter what they say about beauty being in the eye of the beholder or being non-important, most women want to look beautiful. I am not one of these lucky women who were blessed with perfect features and skin. Instead of being jealous, I make myself beautiful with the help of organic beauty products.

I am very cautious before putting anything on my face and I choose my cosmetics very carefully. I don’t like to put chemicals that I cannot pronounce on my face, so I try to find only organic beauty products.

Believe it or not, your skin can absorb toxins and chemicals, which are found in non-organic beauty products pretty easily. According to statistics, adults are exposed to more than 120 chemicals just from personal care products! Scary, isn’t it?

Exposure to these chemicals might not cause immediate effects, but the long term effects are yet unknown. I don’t know about you, but I would rather not put myself at risk.

Organic beauty products are a must for people who have sensitive skin and/or allergies. Cosmetics with natural organic ingredients don’t trigger as many allergies; they are usually lighter on your skin, so they will not clog pores.

The best organic beauty products are the ones you make by yourself. I understand that making your own mascara or eye shadows might be an issue, but homemade facial masks are very convenient and are very easy to make. You can make them with basic ingredients, which you can find in your refrigerator, such as cucumber or lemon. I wrote a post about my favorite homemade facial masks awhile ago.

If you don’t feel like experimenting with making your own stuff, there are tons of organic beauty products on the market – some better some worse. I like to buy stuff from Amazon, because it has lots of natural and organic beauty products, but their deals are unbeatable. Here is the link to Amazon organic beauty deals: Amazon organic beauty.

I would much rather not put petro-chemicals on my skin and I suggest you don’t either.
