Organic Tips for Skin Care. Part 1

Healthy and beautiful skin is a dream of many. Most of us suffer from either acne, blemishes, wrinkles, greasiness, dryness or all of these together. Only some lucky individuals are blessed with flawless skin, but even they need to take good care of it.

Marketing specialists are not sleeping and trying to convince you to buy astronomically priced creams, which are supposed to do miracles. Sometimes these creams work, more often they don’t. The tips I will give you are also not going to make you look 10 years younger overnight, but they will make your skin more beautiful and much healthier in an organic, natural and inexpensive way.

First of all, you need to watch what you eat. This is the most important organic tip for a healthy skin.

1. Start your day right. Instead of your usual coffee and doughnut, consider drinking green or black (if you absolutely need to have caffeine) teas. Eating doughnuts is not a good idea in the first place, but eating them in the morning is particularly bad. Instead of getting nutrition and vitamins, you are getting fats and sugars, which don’t help your skin.

Eat a breakfast which is nutritious, but easy to digest at the same time. When you are sleeping your body is getting rid of the waste material. When you wake up, it is still working on it, and eating a light breakfast will give your skin a couple of extra hours to finish the cleansing process. If you eat a heavy breakfast, your body will switch from skin cleansing to digesting food.

Your best bet would be to eat fresh, preferably organic (free from pesticides) fruits.

2. Drink lots of water. Pure filtered water can do miracles for your skin and your well-being. The benefits of water are described here.

3. Eat foods enriched in Vitamin B or take a supplement. Vitamin B helps keep your skin moisturized and it slows down your skin’s aging process.

4. Eat lots of yogurt. The probiotic bacteria are good for your skin and for your health. These bacteria boost the immune system and kill harmful bacteria which cause acne. It is better to either buy organic yogurt, or to make it yourself. Yogurt makers are pretty cheap and the process of making yogurt is easy and painless.
