Simple Ways to Prevent Hemorrhoids
If you have already had hemorrhoids, I don’t need to convince you why you need to try to prevent it. If you haven’t, trust me, you don’t want to experience it.
Even if you have varicose veins and are genetically predisposed to hemorrhoids, there are ways to significantly reduce its occurrence.
First of all, watch what you eat. Eating too much pizza and not enough veggies may cause constipation, which is hemorrhoid’s best friend. Make sure to eat enough fiber. Eat less cheese and red meat and remember to include plenty of fruits, vegetables and whole grains into your diet. It will benefit your entire body, not only your rear end.
Second of all, exercise. Thirty minutes a day will not take too much of your time, but will greatly benefit your health. If the thought of exercising makes you shiver, go for a walk. You can even go to a mall and walk there if you’d like. The key here is movement.
Prevent hemorrhoids by drinking lots of water. I already wrote about benefits of water here.
Do not lift heavy objects. The pressure of trying to lift a heavy object can make your rectal area as well as your veins swollen.
Maintaining proper weight is a very important step in preventing hemorrhoids. If you follow all of the above i.e. reduce pizza consumption, diligently eat your veggies, drink water, and exercise, maintaining your perfect weight will come to you naturally.
Despite all your efforts, there is still a chance that this nasty thing will get you. Don’t panic. There are plenty of natural remedies to help you. Most of them you can make at home. If you don’t mind spending some extra money, here is a very good natural hemorrhoid homeopathic treatment called Venapro which according to many, does wonders. You can read more about it HERE. They actually have it on sale right now.
