Victoria’s Secret Is Going Organic
Victoria’s Secret, which was previously targeted by the environmentalists for using paper sourced from endangered forests, decided to go organic and green. They just launched a new line of vegan and organic products.
The vegan cosmetics are a part of Victoria’s Secret PINK line and will contain only natural and organic ingredients, such as mint, oatmeal, citrus, soy milk and coffee beans. The products are not tested on animals and do not include and toxins or chemicals.
There products include body lotions, scrubs, body washes, shave creams, lip butters, hand sanitizers, refresher sprays and hand creams. The products are slightly pricey, but considering the fact that they are organic and eco-friendly, the prices don’t look too bad. For example, you can buy 11.8 oz Energizing body lotion with organic coffee beans, mint and citrus for $15 (or 2 lotions for 20), or a Soothing hand cream with organic oat extract for $8.
Victoria’s Secret launched some organic pajamas, loungewear and lingerie. The selection is limited, but prices are not that much higher than the rest of their stuff. For example, organic cami sleep set, which is available in 3 spring patterns can be purchased for $26; organic PINK tee is currently sold for $22.50.
